"I’m not doing that" — Julie Chrisley's response to son Chase Chrisley's hair color ideas

Chase Chrisley, 28, recently shared insights into his mother Julie Chrisley's hair transformation after release from prison on May 28, 2025. Donald Trump granted Julie and her husband, Todd, full presidential pardons on May 27.

In the May 29 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chase Chrisley reflected on his parents' release from federal prison and their family reunion. During his conversation with host Kevin Frazier, he opened up about his mom's hair color ideas. The TV actor said:

"I mean my mother’s an angel and she’s still a beautiful woman. Her hair’s darker now. I went, 'Momma, we gotta [go] back platinum blonde.'"

Hearing Chase, Julie responded,

"I’m not doing that."

On Thursday, Fox News Digital obtained images of Julie embracing her brunette locks with visible gray roots. Over the years, netizens have seen her flaunting her signature blonde hairstyle.

Chase Chrisley also talked about his dad

Chase Chrisley also weighed in on his father's change in appearance, adding,

"My dad is just jacked."

On May 28, Savannah Chrisley, 27, filmed videos of her dad returning home after Julie and Todd were released. Per the Us Weekly report, Todd and Julie's kids went to bring their parents home.

Sharing a clip of her father on her Instagram story, she wrote:

"Oh yeah, feel the muscle! I'm not gonna lie, it's hard."

Todd too joined his daughter, lauding his bicep, saying,

"Todd is jacked"

Savannah Chrisley spoke about her parents

The reality TV star had a conversation with reporters outside the Florida prison. While discussing her parents, she said,

"My parents have not spoken to each other, heard each other’s voices or seen each other in the past two and a half years."

Sharing how the family missed enjoying special occasions and celebrations, she added,

"Their 29th wedding anniversary was May 25, so we’re only a few days out from that. So when they reunite, we’re going to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, Christmases, all the things, because we’re going to make up for lost time."

The married couple was convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022. The authorities found them guilty of defrauding banks out of more than $30 million, Vanity Fair reported.

Savannah had a chat with Trump on May 27. The U.S. President told her,

"It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean."

He added,

"I hope we can do it by tomorrow. I don’t know them, but give them my regards. Wish them a good life."
