TV personality Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley’s son, Chase Chrisley, opened up about his parents' new looks following their prison release. For the unversed, the couple faced fraud charges and were found guilty in 2022. President Donald Trump signed the couple’s pardon release recently.

Julie Chrisley does not seem to have naturally blonde hair, as media outlets saw that she had her natural brown hair when released. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier on May 30, 2025, Chase was asked about his reaction on seeing his parents return. He said:

“It was a beautiful moment. I mean my family just to I don't think it really hit me until they were both home and I got to see my mom and dad hug each other and embrace each other. We were all hugging each other and crying and it was just a beautiful moment and answered prayers for sure.”

He said his father could contact Julie Chrisley only through emails, but his messages would get delayed for weeks. This, according to him, made it impossible for them to communicate.

Chase said that when his parents saw each other the night before, they burst into tears and hugged each other. When Kevin Frazier asked about his parents' looks after the release, he replied:

“I mean, my mother's an angel and she's still a beautiful woman. Her hair is darker now I think I am like, ‘Mama, we got to go back platinum blonde.’ And she was like, ‘I am not doing that.’ My dad is just jacked.”

What did Chase Chrisley say about Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley’s television comeback?

Kevin Frazier mentioned that Chase Chrisley had cameras following and asked if the audience would get a chance to see the reunion, to which he said, ‘maybe.’ He explained that when filming began, his parents were already in prison and involved in negotiations, but no agreement had been made for them to be part of the show.

He added that cameras weren’t allowed inside the prison, and the only contact they had with his parents was through phone calls when they called. When asked if Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley would return to television, Chase said:

“I mean my mom and dad, we will have to have a family conversation about that.”

Kevin Frazier inquired how the episode changed the way people perceived their family and the name. Chase responded:

“I mean you have haters that will believe any headline that's out there but at the end of the day, everybody's got an opinion and quite frankly, I don't care about anybody's opinion. I know who I am. I know where I stand with God. I know where I stand with my family. So, I am good with that.”

During a phone call with Todd and Julie Chrisley's daughter, Savannah Chrisley, Donald Trump said it was a tough situation but also a positive one since her parents would soon be free and have a fresh start.

He mentioned he hoped it could happen quickly and sent his best wishes, even though he hadn’t met them. According to Us Weekly, after getting the news of Todd and Julie Chrisley receiving a pardon, Savannah shared her happiness, saying she had spent over two years fighting for their release.

She felt the moment was an answered prayer and thanked Trump for recognizing the truth and reuniting their family.
