RHOA alum Porsha Williams opens up about dating a woman after her split from Simon Guobadia

Internet personality and actress Porsha Williams reportedly opened up about her dating endeavours. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum recently appeared at the Culture Con on October 5. A clip (@mrhousewives) shared from the interview is allegedly going viral on social media, in which Porsha reveals she has two potential matches. She said,

"The people that I am talking to now, are just two. He's nice and she's nice."

The crowd seemed amused by Porsha's answers, while she continued,

"I really wanted these to be normal people. And what I was talking to my therapist the other day was I am having a hard time opening up."

While she didn't take names, she allegedly remarked on her previous relationship with Simon Guobadia and noted,

"Because they are not narcissists. And guess what narcissists do, they love bomb you, they do everything perfect. They marry you."

Williams disclosed that she is not yet "ready to open up" since her past relationship. She noted,

"So what I have to do is realise, that if you want something different, you have to be also different. I have to soften up a bit."

Porsha Williams is reportedly ready to find her better half, but is not in a hurry to do so. In a candid Q&A at Culture Con, the singer revealed that she wants to be with "normal people" and is open to taking it forward with either a man or a woman. This comes a few months after Porsha opened up to People magazine about healing from her divorce from Simon Guobadia.

The outlet reported that Porsha Williams and Simon got married in November 2022. The latter filed for a divorce in February 2024 and revealed that she was "free" (@porsha4real) in September 2024 after completing the legal procedures. Porsha told People on June 28, 2025, that she had been feeling "lonely" following her divorce. She revealed,

"I can't connect with other men. You would think I'm dating already and stuff, right? People try to introduce me. But it's just... when it's not the same, it's not the same."

She added,

"I'm going to do it different this time. I'm going to be alone until I'm whole. And then when I'm whole, then I will open myself back up so I don't make the same mistake again."
