After more than six years of being engaged, Robin Thicke and his longtime partner, April Love Geary, are finally tying the knot. The American-Canadian singer, who first popped the question on Christmas Eve in 2018, proposed to the mother of his three kids again recently. April Love Geary posted the pictures of the second proposal on Instagram and wrote,
“Robin surprised me during our trip to Cannes by proposing to me again with a new ring that one of my best friends @nikkiwhatnikkiwho @establishedjewelry made, I’m so obsessed with it, thank you!!!”
She added,
“This trip was such a dream. 🤍 I love you so much @robinthicke Also a huge thank you to @alilasky for clearing out the whole area and making sure there wasn’t a single person getting in the way 😂”
On Thursday, May 29, April Love Geary shared a picture with Robin Thicke via her Instagram Stories and wrote, “let’s go get married @robinthicke.” In the following stories, the model shared and reshared pictures and videos from their trip to Mexico, where the pair will marry over the weekend.

After a decade of dating, the celebrity couple is ready to exchange vows. According to Page Six and TMZ, the festivities of Robin Thicke and April Love Geary’s wedding will continue over the weekend, from Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 1. The model already shared some clips from a get-together via her Instagram.
Page Six was the first to report that Robin and April are tying the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pair’s family and friends will attend the three-day-long celebrations. Those who are already in Mexico and posted about the wedding festivities include the following:
- Stormi Bree Henley - An actress, singer, and model
- Evan “Saro” Windom - A musician and co-founder/head of creative at Mateo Sound
- Alisia Sophia - An interior designer with an eponymous design studio
- Kelly Sawyer - An entrepreneur and co-CEO at LA-based NPO, Baby2Baby
- Kelly Noonan Gores - A Los Angeles-based actor-producer
- Nikki Erwin - Owner and designer at Established Jewelry
Other family members and close friends of Robin Thicke and April Love Geary are also among the attendees. At the same time, a source told TMZ that Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Jeong, and Usher are also on the guest list. Robin Thicke is a close friend of the King of R&B and, famously, his engagement with Tameka Foster, the latter’s first wife.
The Blurred Lines singer performed when Usher proposed to Foster in 2007. She recounted the proposal during a past interview with Essence,
“We were in a studio with a mutual friend of ours, Robin Thicke, who serenaded me while he played the piano. He was playing the piano and singing 'The Stupid Things' from his first album.”
She added,
“He [Usher] made a statement and Robin began singing the song and it was just beautiful.”

Robin Thicke was first linked to April Love Geary in 2014. At the time, the singer was separated from his first wife, and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol actress Paula Patton. In the following year, they confirmed their relationship. The couple subsequently welcomed three children – Mia Love (February 2018), Lola Alain (February 2019), and Luca Patrick Thicke (December 2019).
