Tamika Chesser’s sister breaks silence on Port Lincoln murder allegations

Australian reality star and model Tamika Chesser was allegedly charged with the murder of her partner, Julian Story, on June 19, 2025. The 34-year-old TV personality is known for her appearance on the reality television series Beauty and the Beast Australia. Chesser's boyfriend was found in their local unit without a head, several body parts dismembered and charred, as if he had been burned.

Tamika Chesser's sister spoke to 9 News to talk about her sister. She revealed that Tamika has not been doing very well in terms of her mental health. The accused's sister said:

"It just started getting worse... She started being in and out of mental health. She didn’t mention anything and she just told everyone that she loves them."

During the interview with 9 News, her face was blurred, but the pain was evident from her voice when she softly said:

"It’s my sister, but that’s not who she is or the Tamika we know... That’s not the Tamika anyone knows."

Chesser's sister also revealed that neither she nor any of the family members have been in contact with Tamika. She explained:

"We can’t have contact with her. She’s still unresponsive at the moment... It is very sad and I’m very sorry to Julian’s family."

More details from the police during Tamika Chesser's arrest

When the police arrived and arrested Tamika, they reported that she was in a catatonic state. According to the court documents received by Newswire:

"The accused was seated in a garden chair in the rear yard adjacent to Unit 3 in a catatonic and unresponsive state at this time."

Additionally, after her arrest, Tamika Chesser was also allegedly charged with assaulting a police officer. Her other alleged charges include murder, destroying human remains to pervert the course of justice, and another charge includes assaulting an emergency worker.

Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke told news reporters:

"We know that after his alleged murder, Julian's body was dismembered and while I won’t provide any further detail about that at this time, I can tragically say that we have not recovered the head of Julian Story."

The search for Julian Story's head continues. However, a recent chilling CCTV video of Tamika Chesser that might be used as evidence has emerged. The reality TV star was seen walking down the street, wearing black clothes, while carrying a white bag. She can be seen walking with two dogs.
