As per a recent article by the New York Post, actor Charlie Sheen recently made some shocking revelations about his drug usage. In an interview with Australian journalist Amelia Adams on the show 60 Minutes Sunday Night, Charlie Sheen gave insights about the height of his drug abuse. He confessed that he was cut off by a Mexican cartel, as they thought he was dealing on the side.

“The cartel cut you off?" asked Amelia Adams.
To this, Sheen replied “They did. They had never seen someone acquiring that kind of weight, you know, and so the only other people that they were delivering that kind of weight to were dealers, and they thought I was dealing on the side.”

The confession left Adams, as well as audiences, shocked. Adams also used this opportunity to address the rumors of Sheen once smoking “7 grams of crack cocaine” in one sitting and whether they were true.

Adams replied that nobody puts these things on a scale.

“Well, we never like took one out of the pipe and put it on a scale,” said Sheen. “However, yeah, that was the amount that was cooked to get it into that form. I remember at one point the Jaws moment, ‘Uh, we’re going to need a bigger pipe.’”

Sheen giggled that the incident was kind of funny, to which Adams replied humorously, “It is funny, but it’s also... you are lucky to be alive.”

The earlier controversy involving Charlie Sheen

After a series of public outbursts, Sheen, who previously earned $1.8 million per episode on the comedy sitcom Two and a Half Men, was shockingly fired by Warner Bros. and CBS in 2011. He most famously attacked Chuck Lorre, the show’s executive producer, with whom he has since made amends.

Sheen shared in the interview that he regrets his actions and the way his eight-year stint on Two and a Half Men ended.

“It was an imperfect storm of way too much stuff going on behind the scenes in my personal life. And I had back-to-back failed marriages. And then in the middle of all that, [I was] still trying to be front and center for my children, you know,” Sheen shared on the show.
“I went through two divorces and had four children in an eight-year run on that show.”

He further confessed that he was relieved to make these confessions and opened up about how his partners extorted money from him.

“I just wanted to feel what it would be like to just expose that. Not expose that, but to share that and it’s fine,” said Sheen.
“But it was also to take the bullets out of some guns that have still been pointed in my direction. And just like say, ‘You no longer have any control over me with your extortion demands’.”
