Travis Kelce's new eatery to feature a signature cocktail connected to Taylor Swift's music: Details explored

Travis Kelce has a restaurant opening up in Missouri, and there seems to be a cocktail named after Taylor Swift. According to a report by Us Weekly, the restaurant is a joint venture with Patrick Mahomes, which they named 1587 Prime, and is set to open on September 17.

On August 28, the Instagram page of the restaurant posted a video in which Kelce and Mahomes tried one of the cocktails, which they called “The Alchemy.” For the unversed, The Alchemy is also a song from Taylor Swift’s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Meanwhile, the drink was described as:

“This was kind of our version of doing a shrimp cocktail.”

The drink had cucumber, some orange peel, and a rose bud. The news of the rumored song-inspired drink has been covered by social media outlets like the X account “@chartstswift.” According to Us Weekly, the song has imagery of Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce.

In one of the verses of the song, Taylor Swift sang about proving herself as the best by outshining others and taking the crown. She also described how someone’s heart still seemed to belong to her and suggested that their strong connection was something they couldn’t fight against.

The news of the signature cocktail at Travis Kelce’s eatery comes days after he announced his engagement to the songstress. The NFL player posted a series of photos on Instagram, one of which featured Swift’s engagement ring. The carousel was captioned:

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Jason and Travis Kelce look back on their recent podcast episode with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift recently appeared on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, and the episode reportedly broke many records. On the August 27 episode of the podcast, the brothers reflected on how the episode was remarkable. Travis said:

“We're up over, I think, like 20 million views on YouTube right now.”

Jason jokingly said:

“I mean, listen and it's all us. I can pretty much guarantee everyone tuned in to New Heights for our bond.”

Travis said people watched that episode; it was the rare two hours that Taylor didn’t give to her fans previously. Besides, he said, she also announced her new album. Speaking of the upcoming album, Travis Kelce said:

“I know she mentioned that it's going to be a lot more pop beats and everything, but it's just it's still so poetic and how she like her melodies and her references and stuff. It's just so much fun to listen to, man.”

Jason Kelce said the episode went well because Taylor was friendly. He felt it was special since fans got to see her speak honestly for such a long time, and it seemed to really connect with them.

Travis added that he enjoyed hearing people’s reactions to the start of his relationship with her, the fun moments from football season, and her story about meeting Jason for the first time.
