Indiana Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton has reportedly shared an update with his fans following his Achilles surgery on Tuesday, June 24. The NBA player reportedly sustained the injury during Game 7 on Monday, following which he underwent surgery. Haliburton took to his socials (@TYHaliburton22) to express his "shock" and revealed his experience after the surgery. He noted,
"I know I’ll come out on the other side of this a better man and a better player. And honestly, right now, torn Achilles and all, I don’t regret it."
He added,
"I’d do it again, and again after that, to fight for this city and my brothers. For the chance to do something special."
The 25-year-old disclosed that the injury is weighing more in his "mind" than his physical health; however, he added that he will "fight like hell to get back".

He expressed gratitude and noted that with time, he would
"get right back to being the best version of Tyrese Haliburton."
Tyrese's girlfriend, Jade Jones, reportedly took to her Instagram stories on June 24 and noted,
"a run we will remember for a lifetime, you are so amazing!"
Indiana's coach, Rick Carlisle, spoke in a press statement about Tyrese's injury and noted,
“What happened with Tyrese, all of our hearts dropped. But he will be back. I don’t have any medical information about what may or may not have happened, but he’ll be back in time, and I believe he’ll make a full recovery.”
According to news outlets, the injury can reportedly impact Tyrese Haliburton's ability to play for the entire season. While it is unclear when Tyrese will make a comeback, he has assured his fans that he will get "through this."
