Personal coach and estranged wife of Scott Wolf, Kelley Wolf, is speaking out against a netizen who sent her messages questioning her parenting skills. The mother of three took to her Instagram stories to share with followers the DMs she received on the social media platform, and penned a scathing critique of her detractor.

On June 29, Wolf shared a screenshot of direct messages she received from a netizen saying she was setting a bad example for her children. Addressing her followers, Wolf slammed the reaction to her social media activity and said,

“Ma’am?! Watch your mouth. My kids wouldn’t be allowed to speak like this… ma’am!!!”

Also included in the screenshot was a direct message Wolf had addressed to the individual, in which she wrote,

“Maam... Apologize. Wow. All I am doing is showing woman like you what a BAD example you set... for women like me. Do NOT message me again. Understand me.”

Wolf’s responses came in the wake of a netizen criticizing Wolf’s public reaction to her divorce from Scott Wolf and its fallout. In her direct messages to Wolf, the netizen wrote,

“Be a lady and get divorced gracefully….speaking from experience!…Please please please set a GOOD example for your kids! Your public behavior makes you look like a fool!”

About Kelley Wolf’s divorce and its aftermath

Earlier in the month, both Kelley Wolf and her husband of 21 years, Scott Wolf, announced their split. While Scott released a statement through People Magazine, emphasizing that the former couple would prioritize their children, Kelley wrote a long note on her Instagram page, noting how good Scott is as a father.

A couple of days after the announcement, Kelley Wolf was detained by authorities and taken to a hospital in Utah while recording an Instagram live. According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, Wolf could be heard telling authorities on the Instagram live,

“Oh my God, this is not happening... Fine, I'll go! I'll go on my own...Wow. This is shameful, gentlemen”

According to the news outlet, the officer told Wolf that he was there to ensure she was doing fine, after making “concerning” comments to family and friends and not under arrest.

As per People Magazine, Wolf proceeded to share more images of what appeared to be a hospital, and wrote,

“I have been taken against my will. Please check on my kids. Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been.”

On June 21, Wolf shared a lengthy post on social media, providing her account of the events leading up to her hospitalization. She claimed,

“I am not in a hospital. I was discharged with zero substances in my system, No diagnosis, No family history of mental illness. And yet…I was handcuffed, bruised, and offered strong medications like lithium and Seroquel—Against my will. Let that sink in.”

As per People Magazine, Wolf alleged a couple of days later that she was put on a ‘5150 hold.’ The publication reported that Wolf took to Instagram to write,

“No mental illness. No addictions. Just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150 and went on a 1st DATE 2-night. So nervous! OMG!…In other words: I’m ALIVE. I’m not quiet anymore. And the show’s just getting started.”

According to Rasmussen University, a 5150 hold is a period of 72 hours during which individuals displaying mental distress are offered emergency and involuntary treatment.

Amid the ongoing crisis with Wolf, TMZ reported that Scott Wolf received a temporary restraining order against his former wife.
