More about Cassie Ventura’s legal statements against Sean Diddy Combs
Ventura and Diddy dated from about 2007 until they broke up in 2018. In November 2023, Cassie issued a civil lawsuit against Diddy, claiming he r*ped, abused, manipulated, and trafficked her for s*x.
During her second day of testimony at Sean Diddy Combs’ federal s*x trafficking trial in New York this week, Cassie Ventura described the abuse throughout their decade-long relationship.
According to Ventura, Diddy r*ped her in her home after a lunch in 2018, despite her being involved with her now husband Alex Fine. She recalled crying and saying “no” during the assault.
She also claimed that in 2011, Diddy threatened to hurt both her and Kid Cudi after learning of their relationship. Ventura spoke about the 2016 hotel surveillance footage, which shows Diddy chasing her, grabbing her by the head and throwing her to the ground, saying he also threw a vase at her (The Guardian).
She remembered the rapper being violent with others including fighting staff and his friends, she testified, recalling that he once dangled a friend out of a balcony. She also recounted an experience in which Combs dragged his assistant out of bed.
Amidst all this, Ventura stated that their 2023 lawsuit was settled for $20 million and testified that Diddy threatened to expose her and damage her career with explicit videos from "freak-offs".
