Chase Chrisley, 29, hinted at his new Lifetime docuseries featuring the Chrisley family. He is a producer, reality TV star, and businessman best known for his appearance on Chrisley Knows Best (2014–2023). This year, on July 1, he unveiled his new alcohol-free seltzer brand, Gold Drop.

In an exclusive conversation with People Magazine, published on July 4, 2025, he opened up about the all-new documentary, explaining,

"It's very different than Chrisley Knows Best, because as I'm sure anyone knows, Chrisley Knows Best was a family sitcom."

Sharing specifics of the release and elaborating on what lies ahead, Chase Chrisley also added,

"This is just raw, raw footage, raw. I'm like, 'Can we go back to Chrisley Knows Best?' Yeah, 'Let's just laugh.'"

According to the exclusive conversation with People Magazine, Chase hinted at the upcoming documentary reflecting on "the truth" of his family's recent challenges and everything ongoing in their personal lives.

Earlier this year, in May, the outlet reported that Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley, Chloe Chrisley, and Nanny Faye Chrisley would be featured in the new series again. The show would emphasize:

"the challenge of carrying on the Chrisley name and legacy on their own with only phone calls and brief visits with their incarcerated parents."

Initially, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were not a part of the docuseries. However, the plans changed, and they appeared in front of the camera after their early release from their imprisonment. In May 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned the reality show couple Todd and Julie.

During the exclusive People Magazine interview, Chase Chrisley further added about his produced show, as an executive producer,

"We were actually at the tail end of filming. We're still filming a little bit."

He also stated,

"I feel like for so long on Chrisley Knows Best, I played a character. Savannah played a character. We all did. We're actually being able to be open and vulnerable, and show the highs, and show the lows, and no matter how low we get kicked down, we're still going to get back [up]."

Discussing more about his family documentary, Chrisley explained that viewers are "going to get a full breakdown." Delving more about the show and his parents, he noted,

"My dad is my dad. He came out guns blazing. He's ready for anybody and everybody. Anybody that knows anything about my dad knows that it's changed."

Expressing his gratitude for Donald Trump's decision, Todd and Julie's son commented,

"It's an amazing adjustment, obviously. I feel like throughout the entire process, even once, after the conviction, even after they went away, I knew deep down that like, 'This is not it. This is not the end result.' So I feel like I was just carrying around, just waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting for something to happen. Thank God to President Trump [that] something did, something great happened. It's like a weight lifted off my shoulders."

According to a Us Weekly report, Lifetime's partnership with the Chrisley family for a new series surfaced on the internet in May. Back then, its working title was The Untitled Chrisleys Project.

Discussing the docuseries, Lifetime released a statement announcing,

"The Chrisleys don’t know best anymore. But they’re doing their best to be there for each other."

Chase Chrisley exclusively spoke about his latest venture during the interview, according to a June 26 report. Discussing this new entrepreneurship, he clarified,

"It's been in the making for quite some time, honestly. Obviously, I've had my difficulty [and] my struggle with alcohol. It makes the highs, highs and it makes the lows, lower."

Chrisley embraced sobriety sometime back. And his personal experiences and alcohol-free journey resonate with his new business, too. Previously, he had to undergo a difficult period marked by legal trouble and faced the emotional weight of his family’s ongoing struggles. These challenges influenced this significant lifestyle choice.

His parents' imprisonment was another reason pushing him to sobriety. Looking back on those days, Chase remarked,

"I think that going through what we went through with my family, and then my personal journey, and my struggles, it's time for me just to put alcohol down. We just don't agree with each other."

Gold Drop's product range includes alcohol-free and sugar-free sparkling water. It comes in three interesting flavors; clementine, dragon fruit, and lemon lime.

As a business owner, his goal was to launch a healthier drink for consumers. Delving deep into the item, he described, as People Magazine reported,

"I wanted to put a product out there that's zero alcohol, it's good for you and has all-natural things from the earth. There's no additives in it. And, it's a sexy can. So, you can still be out, and you can still drink, you can drink this, and it'd be a healthy alternative. So, maybe some people don't have to make the same mistakes that I did."

Chase aims to establish his brand as a "healthy opportunity to still have fun." He further detailed:

"My goal with Gold Drop was to give somebody a healthy opportunity to still have fun, and look like they're having fun again, without the negative impacts of alcohol. But there's nothing really sexy to hold in your hand that's not an alcoholic beverage. So I think that's very appealing to me. Also, it tastes amazing."

As per another exclusive chit-chat with People Magazine, published on June 27, 2025, he outlined Gold Drop, defining that he

"wanted to put a product out there that is zero alcohol, it's good for you and has all natural things from the earth."

He also summarized:

"There's no additives in it, and it's a s**y can. So, you can still be out, and you can still drink, you can drink this, and it'd be a healthy alternative. So maybe some people don't have to make the same mistakes that I did."

It's just the beginning and Chrisley is already excited about his brand's expansion. He added:

"I'm my father's son, so I'm definitely thinking about it."

Confessing to feeling tired emotionally due to his alcohol consumption, Chase revealed:

"I got to a point where I was just like, 'The only person I was hurting was myself.' It was also disappointing to people that love and care about me the most. But at the end of the day, you have to do it for yourself."

Chrisley also thanked his partner, Jodi Laine Fournerat, for supporting him on his difficult journey. He expressed:

"I've never been with a woman that has the work ethic that she has. So honestly, it was refreshing for me to see. And honestly, she's a big reason why I quit drinking, too, because I mean, without her support throughout the last two years of my parents being gone, I really don't know where I would be, if I would even be here."
