British actress Jodie Turner-Smith and Taylor Swift were guests on the October 3 episode of The Graham Norton Show. However, according to a report by The Daily Mail, during the show, Smith allegedly asked the singer an invasive question, as claimed by an audience member.

The audience member, Sammie Nicole, reportedly shared on TikTok that Jodie Turner-Smith asked Taylor Swift about her plans to have kids. Nicole said:

“This is a big one. When I was watching it I was like, ‘Oh, they cut that out!’ Which I'm not surprised that they did. There was a part when Graham was talking to Taylor about the upcoming wedding and planning it, and one of the other guests, Jodie, said to Taylor, ‘And what about babies?’”

Sammie Nicole went on:

“Now I know what she meant, she was asking Taylor, ‘Are you going to have babies soon?’ But Taylor thought she was asking if babies were coming to the wedding, so Taylor went, ‘Oh no under-18s are coming, just adults!’”

Nicole mentioned that although the conversation should have ended, Jodie Turner-Smith kept asking if Taylor Swift planned to have kids. Graham Norton quickly stepped in and said that kind of question should be asked privately, not on camera, and then they changed the topic. According to Nicole, that part was later removed from the show.

She also mentioned that Jodie Turner-Smith’s question even made her uncomfortable. In her opinion, having or not having kids was Swift’s personal choice, and nobody should ask about it.

On the show, Graham Norton said that although there was a lot to congratulate Taylor Swift for, what couldn’t be missed was her engagement ring. Norton also showed the viral Instagram post of Travis Kelce’s proposal and asked if it was the actual proposal. Swift said:

“It is actually. So he really crushed it when it came to surprising me because we had actually filmed a podcast episode. He has a podcast called New Heights.”

She went on:

“So, we filmed the podcast for about 3 or 4 hours or whatever. And meanwhile, behind his house, he was having the whole back garden turned into this.”
