On September 16, veteran actor and director Robert Redford died in Utah. The actor died at the age of 89. Robert was known for his works like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Way We Were, The Horse Whisperer, and more.
Redford’s career extended beyond acting, and he produced and directed several projects. Robert Redford was also a committed environmentalist. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actor had a net worth of $200 million.
According to a statement released to The New York Times by the actor’s publicist, Cindi Berger, Robert passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Utah. Rogers & Cowan PMK CEO, Berger, said in a statement:
"Robert Redford passed away on Sept. 16, 2025, at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah — the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved."
Berger added:
"He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy."
