Where is the cast of "Duck Dynasty" now? Taking a look at the Robertson family's lives over the years in the wake of Phil Robertson's death

Businessman and hunter Phil Robertson’s death seems to have shaken the online world. The news of his demise was posted by his family members across social media platforms. Taking to X, his son Jase Robertson wrote:

“My dad has gone to be with the Lord today! He will be missed but we know he is in good hands, and our family is good because God is very good! We will see him again!”

Phil Robertson was known for his role in Duck Dynasty, a reality show that explored the lives of the Robertson family and their business, Duck Commander.

Although the series ran from 2012 to 2017, it is expected to return this year, as per People magazine. In 2017, while speaking to Us Weekly, Phil Robertson’s son, Willie Robertson, and his wife, Korie Robertson, said:

“The Robertson family has always been very open with their lives. Good and bad. When you’re vulnerable and say, ‘Hey, this is what we’re going through,’ that resonates.”

Willie Robertson explained that they aimed to avoid anything embarrassing on the show. He recalled a moment when his uncle, Si, was caught picking his nose, and although the producers found it amusing, the family asked for the scene to be removed.

In 2017, Willie restarted their restaurant, Willie’s Duck Diner, although it was shut down two years later. He also acted in the 2010 reality show Buck Commander. He was also a part of the sixth season of The Masked Singer.

Korie turned to writing and published a book, Strong and Kind: Raising Kids of Character, the same year the show ended. As per Us Weekly, she is also a writer on her daughter’s website.

Here’s what Phil Robertson’s other family members have been involved with following the show

Phil Robertson’s brother, Si, aka Uncle Si, played roles in other shows, including Buck Commander and Last Man Standing. Till 2019, he also appeared on Fox & Friends. He also played in his son’s wife’s band.

Meanwhile, Phil Robertson’s wife, Kay, ran her West Monroe restaurant, which was shut in 2020. Phil’s other son, Jep, worked in a spinoff with his wife, Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty.

The spinoff ran from 2016 to 2017, and following that, they started a food truck. They shifted to Austin and now run a YouTube channel. The Duck Dynasty patriarch’s third son, Jase, is expected to return in the show's upcoming season, although in a limited capacity.

Jase’s wife, Missy, has shifted her focus to her jewelry business following the show’s end. Along with her daughter, she wrote Princess in Camo. The couple is also involved with their event venture, Logtown Plantation.

Sadie, Phil Robertson’s granddaughter and Willie and Korie’s child, became a multi-hyphenated person. She appeared on Dancing with the Stars and did other projects and ventures. She shared her tribute to her grandfather in an Instagram post, writing:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.’ – 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV As I was sitting with Papaw Phil today, I thought about this verse… he has already experienced this on earth—going from dead to alive by the power of Christ!”

Willie and Korie’s son, John Luke Robertson, became a published author. He married Mary Kate McEacharn and welcomed their son in 2019.
