Dermot Mulroney is parting ways with his wife, Prima Apollinaare, after more than 14 years of marriage, TMZ reported.

According to the outlet, the split is amicable, and the pair has used mediators instead of lawyers. TMZ previously claimed that Mulroney was seeking spousal support, while allegedly asking the court to block Apollinaare from requesting the same. However, a source close to the ex-couple told the outlet,

“Neither side is asking for anything, and no one is denying anything.”

For those unaware, Prima Apollinaare is a musician who is originally from Italy. She was previously named Tharita Cutulle but officially changed it in 2015, according to TMZ. The 52-year-old singer-songwriter revealed in a 2023 Lost in the Manor interview that she is “75% Italian and 15% Argentinian” and was born and raised in Italy.

During the chat, Prima Apollinaare revealed that she got into music due to her parents’ musical backgrounds. She told the label,

“[I] Got into music since I was born. My mom is a singer [and] my dad played Trumpet and piano.”

She further talked about her “favorite and least favorite” part of her profession,

“Favorite part is that I absolutely love singing and playing instruments, less favorite part is to don't have enough time or money to do so constantly.”

The Italian singer-songwriter has been dropping tracks for years now. Apllinaare's debut song was "Stand Up For Love," which was released in 2017. In addition to multiple singles, Prima Apollinaare has also dropped EPs named Songs and Alignment and an album titled 22.

Prima Apollinaare’s estranged husband, Dermot Mulroney, is into music. According to IMDb, he is a classically trained cellist who has played the instrument for the background score of movies like Mission: Impossible III, Star Trek Into Darkness, Zootopia, and more.

At the same time, Apollinaare has also acted in multiple projects. She appeared in Mulroney-starrer Like Father Like Son, released earlier this year. According to her IMDb, the musician also worked in TV series like Carnival Row and Mozart in the Jungle.

As mentioned, TMZ was the first to report on the couple’s split and divorce filing. Based on a source, the outlet also noted that Dermot and Prima are still friends and have amicably parted ways.
