Comedian B Simone is being candid about her present financial situation. During a recent episode of her podcast, Let’s Try This Again with B Simone, Simone revealed that she is not very comfortable financially at the moment.

Known for appearing on the sketch comedy show, Wild ā€˜N Out, Simone’s exit from the show created waves back in 2022. As per Simone, she was removed from Wild ā€˜N Out at the request of fellow co-star, DaniLeigh.

While appearing on the Tamron Hall Show in September 2022, Simone was asked about the producers of the MTV show asking her to leave at the behest of a co-star. While addressing the rumors, Simone said,

ā€œYou know what, I'm going to answer that very simply. It is true, but we're going to have grace for that situation. I don't agree with it but I understand it, especially you know, she’s not that mature so we're just gonna have grace for her and move forward.ā€

At the time, DaniLeigh spoke up about not wanting to film with B Simone

According to Complex, DaniLeigh confirmed that it was at her request that B Simone was removed from an episode of Wild ā€˜N Out. The publication noted that during an Instagram Live at the time, DaniLeigh said,

ā€œMe and B. Simone are not cool. So, I just—my team asked if she doesn’t do the episode that I do, respectfully. It was never anything to be like, ā€˜I’m a diva, I don’t want’—I thought it’d be more mature to not have us sitting next to each other on a show, making it mad awkward and uncomfortable.ā€

DaniLeigh also emphasized that she did not ā€˜demand’ that Simone be removed. She added,

ā€œIt was never a demand. I don’t know why the blogs are putting out that I demanded B. Simone not to be on Wild ā€˜N Out. That wasn’t the case…I’m protecting my peace. I’m protecting my heart on the situation. It wasn’t petty. She was actually there, so I’m sure she got paid. It wasn’t to take nobody from nobody’s pocket.ā€

What did B Simone say about being broke?

During the June 17 episode of her podcast, Let’s Try This Again, B Simone alluded to her financial situation and said,

ā€œJust my finances, like the budgeting, you see how I am, nitpicking every little thing. I've never been like that. We were in Bloomingdales yesterday, I'm like, 'We have to go to H&M.’ Like, and I notice it in me now, just nitpicking. And it's not even, I just don't have it like to spend, the liquid, I'm used to having liquid.ā€

Simone explained that her investment in her upcoming app, LTTA, geared towards uplifting women is the reason why she doesn’t have ā€˜liquid’ money right now. She added,

ā€œAnd because I've invested in this app and this platform, I don't have the liquid. I got the money, but not yet, it's coming. I have it in assets, I have it in jewellery, I have it in, you know, but it’s like, the liquid. I'm used to seeing a certain amount in my account.ā€

Though Simone teared up while explaining her current predicament, she maintained that she doesn’t want quick gains. She continued,

ā€œI don't want it quick and I'm not complaining.ā€
