EXO's REVERXE scheduled for 2026

EXO's I'm Home arrives ahead of their 8th studio album, REVERXE, set for release in the first quarter of 2026

The K-pop group, dubbed the "Nation's Pick," unveiled the cinematic teaser for their forthcoming album on Dec. 7, fueling excitement among fans.

The 3-minute trailer showcases superpowers that represent each member: Suho for water, Chanyeol for fire, Lay for healing, D.O. for earth, Sehun for wind, and Kai for teleportation.

The above-mentioned six members are the ones confirmed to participate in the upcoming release, minus three other core members of the group: Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (also coined as CBX, as they have their own sub-unit).

The comeback is also Lay's first time joining the group since his partial participation in 2021's DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING and 2018's DON'T MESS UP MY TEMPO.

EXO's I'm Home comes months after the trio's label, INB100, released a statement asserting their desire to reach an agreement with SM Entertainment to join the team's full-group activities.

"We deeply apologize for the confusion and concern caused to fans due to the recent delay in announcing our position on EXO-CBX’s participation in EXO full group promotions. INB100 and its artists Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin promised fans that they would continue promotions as a full group as EXO, and are making every effort to achieve this."

The statement went on:

We thank the fans who have always believed in us and waited for us, and we will do our best to produce good results. We ask for your continued support and expectation."

In June 2023, the three vocalists terminated their exclusive contracts with the agency titan and expressed their grievances about settlement concerns and more related to their contracts with SM.

It was previously reported that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin lost all lawsuits with the company.
