Actor Michael B. Jordan’s name was invoked during Cassie Ventura’s testimony at Sean Diddy Combs’ trial. This was in connection with her alleged affair with the Sinners actor.

On May 15, 2025, a cross-examination was held for Ventura, where one of Combs’ defense attorneys, Anna Estevao, asked her if Combs ever suspected her of having an affair. In her response, she named Michael B. Jordan. As per Page Six, they were in a relationship in 2016.

This wasn’t the first time that Jordan’s name came up in the ongoing legal affair. During the jury selection process earlier this month, potential members were asked if they knew who Jordan was. However, according to a report by People Magazine from May 6, 2025, the actor isn't going to testify during the trial.

When Cassie filed her complaint against Diddy, she alleged that in 2015, she had a brief relationship with an actor. However, Combs reportedly threatened the actor when he got wind of it, leading many sources to suggest that the actor was Michael B. Jordan.

Cassie Ventura and Diddy were together for 11 years. In her complaint, she alleged that the hip-hop mogul r*ped her five years ago.

According to Just Jared, in her testimony, Cassie looked back on a time during her relationship with Diddy. She recalled drinking wine and taking a dr*g for the first time, which left her feeling disoriented.

After a trip to Miami, they started spending more time together, although their relationship stayed private for a long time. She said Diddy wanted to keep it quiet, partly because of his family and children.

Cassie also described his unpredictable behavior, saying his mood changed often. She shared that even making the wrong facial expression could result in being physically harmed, as he would sometimes lash out and tell her to be careful with what she said.

Responding to the overall allegations, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said in 2024:

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”

She also mentioned that issues around cheating came up often during their time together.
