On Saturday, August 23, 2024, Raja Jackson, the son of the former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, unexpectedly entered the ring at the Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles and attacked wrestler Stuart Smith, who is also known as Syko Stu.

Raja apparently lifted Syko Stu, slammed him down, and punched him around twenty times while Syko lay unconscious on the mat, as per USA Daily. A clip of the same incident went viral on the internet. As Syko lay unconscious, the referee and other people present at the event surrounded him while the referee tried to wake him up.

Netizens questioned whether there were no paramedics present at the event. One of them wrote to X, asking:

''No paramedics on site?? 🤦‍♂️''- questioned @sagacitysweets

Another user pointed out,

"wow, that's some top notch medical attention on site there, repeatedly tapping him and telling him to "wake up"
"Even if he assaulted him in the ring right in front of everyone it wouldn’t matter. The guy kept punching him when he was clearly unconscious. You can’t even claim self defense after that. That’s attempted murder," commented another user.

Another questioned,

"I’m not sure about this s*it. Where were the paramedics? This seems a little too squirrelly for me to swallow. He Smith “flatlined” they wouldn’t be patting his back and calling his name."
"That dude belongs in prison wtf" said @AmericanP3nguin.

One commenter bluntly summed it up:

"Narcissistic, dumb, no impulse control, no internal dialogue, no empathy, violent temper, fragile=a f*cking nightmare in society."

Raja Jackson's assault on Syko Stu

After Raja unexpectedly attacked Syko on Saturday, Syko was rushed to the hospital. As per reports, Syko is conscious but has lost several teeth and has broken bones.

According to CBS Sports, prior to the attack, Syko allegedly hit Raja Jackson with a canned drink, which may have escalated tensions. In a livestream, Smith was seen crashing a beer can on Raja's head. He then repeatedly apologized to him. Originally, the match appeared planned, intended to be part of the wrestling storyline. But Raja went much farther than expected, turning it into a tragic event.

Raja's father condemned the assault and took to social media to apologize. He explained that Raja Jackson had recently suffered a concussion from MMA sparring, which made it a poor idea for him to be in such a physical event. He also said:

''Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don't condone my son's actions AT ALL!.''

He also said that, as a father, he was deeply concerned about him and for the well-being of Syko. He then apologized on behalf of his son's actions and wished Smith a speedy recovery.

KnokX Pro Wrestling also shared a statement on a Facebook post on Sunday, in which they said:

''What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith.''

They added that the act was 'reprehensible' and should not have taken place. Currently, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the case.
