On November 5, 2025, American singer, songwriter, indie musician, and activist Bill Madden reposted a TikTok video on X that ridicules Erika Kirk’s “public grief.” He captioned his post:

“This woman is spot-f**king-on. This is the best explanation of what Erika Kirk is doing I've heard yet.”

In the 2-minute and 41-second clip originally posted by TikToker @ashleytheebarroness, the woman says:

“I’ve been watching Erika Kirk, and I don’t mean like one clip, right? I mean, watching her, watching how she moves, how she positions herself, how she’s being used. I can’t lie, it’s getting weird, because when your public grief starts looking like an ‘Adam and Eve’ commercial, that’s not faith, that’s branding, and it’s gross.”

According to the TikToker, Erika Kirk wasn’t being “objectified” but was herself “participating,” who she claimed “found her place in the performance.”

Charlie Kirk’s widow hasn’t responded to either the TikToker or Bill Madden, as of writing.

Exploring further the viral TikTok video on Erika Kirk

In the TikTok clip, @ashleytheebarroness claimed that Erika Kirk has seemingly “turned devotion into influence” in the role of “the beautiful believer, the holy widow, the vessel for the message.”

“Not the loud kind, though, the curated palatable kind. You know the one that makes far-right politics look gentle... And the people around her are eating it up,” the TikTok user claimed.

@ashleytheebarroness claimed that Erika Kirk was the “face” of the far-right movement who purportedly made it “look nurturing instead of dangerous.”

The video shared by Bill Madden touched upon Erika’s appearances on the political stage, such as with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, claiming she helped “his ideology look marketable.” Notably, Vance spoke at the University of Mississippi at a TPUSA event on October 29 and shared an embrace with Erika, which later became viral online.

“She’s proof that the patriarchy will always find a woman to front the campaign,” the TikToker continued.

@ashleytheebarroness slammed Mrs Kirk for “grieving publicly” at various kinds of events, campaigns, podcasts, television shows, and conferences, claiming it wasn’t “accidental.”

“Grief sells when it looks holy, when it sounds like faith instead of fury… And whether she realizes it or not, she has become the emotional shield of the movement. She absorbs the criticism, she softens the image, she sanctifies the message,” the TikToker added.

The woman also claimed that Erika Kirk’s onstage interaction with President Donald Trump at her husband's memorial was “not a spiritual moment” but to show that she felt “safe” with him.

According to the TikToker, Turning Point USA’s new leader was “not naïve” but “strategic,” claiming her brand has become a “faith-based fairytale.” However, @ashleytheebarroness alleged that the “system” will never “serve” Kirk in the long run, as she was “only as valuable as her pain.” The influencer claimed that the moment Kirk dealt with her grief and stopped “fitting the narrative,” she would allegedly be replaced by the system/ movement.

Earlier this week, Erika Kirk sat down with Jesse Watters and spoke about her late husband’s final moments with the family. She mentioned that the night before his assassination, Charlie was “excited” to speak at the American Comeback tour stop at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10.

He said that it was going to be “the best” and had a “good night’s sleep” in their daughter’s bedroom. Later, on that fateful morning, Charlie grabbed his wedding ring and necklace and left for Utah, while she stayed back in Arizona to cater to her ailing mother.

Erika regretted not giving Charlie “a kiss goodbye,” recalled how he said, “Home needs you”, and asked her to accompany him to the next tour stop. She also reminisced about receiving the call about her husband getting fatally shot in the neck. She shared that she collapsed in the parking lot upon hearing the news, and has been in an “unbelievable nightmare” ever since.

On Erika Kirk: In Her Own Words, which was a special edition of Jesse Watters Primetime, the widow told the Fox News host that she was “glad” that he didn’t suffer but almost died instantaneously.

Elsewhere, Ms Kirk shared she hasn’t seen the viral video of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and never wishes to see it, adding, she would also shield her two children from watching it. When asked whether she spoke about wearing a bullet vest with the TPUSA founder, he would say that if someone wanted to “get me,” they would make it happen, no matter what.

She recalled seeing he husband’s lifeless body and feeling that he looked “so alive,” adding his final image gave her the boost to carry on his mission and legacy.

Erika Kirk is set to receive the debut Charlie Kirk Legacy Award at the 7th annual Fox Nation Patriot Awards in New York on Thursday.
