Now we know what the new Spider-Man suit looks like in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This new suit was teased on August 1, 2025, on the occasion of "Spider-Man Day," through a nine-second video. But, the very next day, on August 2, 2025, Marvel and Sony released another twenty-two-second video. This one features actor Tom Holland in the new costume.

In this one glimpse, we know what the new suit looks like. It must be noted that the suits featured in the previous three movies were provided by Tony Stark; the new one, set to be featured in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is created by Peter himself in the concluding minutes of No Way Home. Moreover, the suit in the upcoming Holland Spider-Man movie seemed to be heavily influenced by the ones worn by his multiversal counterparts.

Here is how the Spider-Man: Brand New Day suit is influenced by the suits Maguire and Garfield wore in their respective franchises:

As mentioned before, the new suit seen in the video above seems to be the modified version of the suit we saw in the closing minutes of Spider-Man: No Way Home. In this video, we can see that the webs have been raised in the suit. Until the last act of No Way Home, Peter Parker was wearing a suit that did not have raised webs. The aspect of raised webs was inspired by Tobey Maguire's suits from his Trilogy.

But the influence from the previous wall-crawlers doesn't end with the raised webbing. Another noticeable change in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day suit is the new spider chest emblem. The new emblem is larger and a more prominent part of the suit. This change is influenced by Andrew Garfield's suit from 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

It makes sense that Peter is incorporating elements from their suits for his new suit that fans will see in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Considering that he has met both Andrew Garfield's and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Men, he is taking elements from their respective suits.

What do we know about Brand New Day?

As of now, the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day is growing day by day. Yesterday, it was revealed that Mark Ruffalo is returning as Bruce Banner/Hulk, and so is Better Call Saul's Michael Mando. The actor had played the role of Mac Gargan/Scorpion in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. Since then, fans have been hoping for his return. Now, it looks like they have gotten their wish.

But the most hyped-up aspect of Brand New Day is Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle/The Punisher's role in the movie. During the Marvel press conference two weeks before, Kevin Feige teased Castle's role in the upcoming movie:

“So when you do that, you say, okay, who are the other street-level characters that we’ve never seen him interact with? And of course, I love that The Punisher started in a Spider-Man comic. That great cover... I don’t want to say too much, but Destin - I will say too much - Destin is doing an amazing job right now on that movie, which starts shooting very soon. And he’s got eight or nine comic covers up on his wall in his art department that he is bringing to life in this movie, which is super cool.”
