Veteran American actress Patricia Crowley, known for her roles in Forever Female and Money From Home, has passed away. The actress died in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14, 2025. According to her son, Jon Hookstratten, who works as the Executive Vice President of Administration and Operations at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Patricia died of natural causes. She was 91 years old.
Crowley is survived by her husband, son, daughter, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Patricia was born in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. She is recognized for numerous acting roles; however, her performances in Forever Female and Money From Home won Pat the 1953 Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year.
Who was Patricia Crowley?
Patricia Crowley’s interest in acting began when her older sister Ann Crowley landed an appearance at a Chicago musical production. Before venturing into acting, she modelled for a while. Patricia landed her first major TV part as the bobbysoxer lead in the Saturday morning TV series A Date with Judy.
