The reports from July 9, 2025, revealed that 57 of those bodies found were adults, and 30 of them were children. Greg Abbott, the Governor of Texas, said that more than 161 people have been reported missing, and the rescue teams are doing their best to find them. Search and rescue operations are still going on.
Camp Mystic, which was affected the most by the floods, lost a total of 27 campers and counselors. The authorities have reported that one counselor and five campers are still unaccounted for.
