According to her profile on the Sloan Sports Conference, she has been deeply involved in the Colts organization for many years, serving as vice chair and owner since 2008. She is expected to assume primary leadership of the franchise, supported by her sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson. They were named the vice chair and owners in 2012.

The 44-year-old is the third generation of her family to take the seat after her father (1997) and her grandfather (1971), per a report in The Independent. Before becoming a co-owner, Carlie Irsay-Gordon worked in the Colts' ticket office and marketing. She is married to Zach Gordon, who is an attorney, per a report in USA Today. Together, they share three children.

Born in 1981, Carlie Irsay-Gordon grew up immersed in the Indianapolis Colts organization. Over the years, she gained hands-on experience by interning in both the football operations and marketing departments, as highlighted on the Colts’ official website.

Irsay-Gordon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies with a minor in geoscience from Skidmore College in 2005. She has been acting as the vice president and co-owner of Colts since 2008, along with her sisters. Her bio added,

Praising Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Colts general manager Ryan Grigson told USA Today,
"She expects (excellence) just like her father does," Grigson said. "... That's something that their father, I'm sure, has ingrained in them. But at the same time, there's a tremendous amount of respect given to everyone in the building, and they display that. There's no pretentiousness or condescension. You know who's in charge, but the delivery, I think, is something that's unique in this league."
Irsay got married to his ex-wife, Meg Coyle, in 2014. They welcomed three children together: Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey, and Kalen. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, a report in Heavy indicated.
