Who are Millie Bobby Brown's parents? All about the actress's family as she adopts a baby girl with Jake Bongiovi

The Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi announced on Thursday, August 21, 2025, through Instagram that they have adopted a baby girl. The joint post read:

''This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3.''

Millie was born in Andalusia, Spain, to parents Robert and Kelly Brown, who, as per People, had recognized her potential as a performer when she was just a little girl. Known for playing Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things, Bobby received nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards.

Millie Bobby Brown, well known for her roles in films and series including Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Enola Holmes, and Damsel, recently announced that she and her husband have adopted a daughter.

Bobby married Jake in a private, low-key ceremony in May 2024, a model and actor, known for appearing in the musical film Rockbottom. Bobby's father, Robert Brown, was a real estate agent in England and Spain, and her family had launched a teeth-whitening business in Orlando, Florida, as per the Daily Mail.

Millie has three siblings: an older sister, Paige, an older brother, Charlie, and a younger sister, Ava. As per People, Bobby and her sister Paige run a film company called PCMA Productions. Together, they worked on the movies Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2. Charlie is a photographer who worked with Bobby for magazine shoots, like Who What Wear and Glamour U.K.

Her younger sister, Ava, helps out with Millie’s beauty brand, Florence by Mills. When Bobby appeared on ITV’s morning show Lorraine in 2023, she shared the bond she has with her parents, saying:

''My parents are the best thing ever. I’m best friends with them. When I turned 18, I said, ‘You’re still going to come with me, right? I always needed a chaperone and I said, ‘I still need you.’ So they travel everywhere with me, and they are a huge part of my life and a reason that I am where I am today.''

In 2020, on the occasion of Mother's Day, Bobby shared her close bond with her mother in an Instagram video. She said:

Bobby recently appeared in the 2025 science fiction action-adventure film, The Electric State. It was released on Netflix in March 2025.
