Burna Boy recently cancelled his Friday, November 28 show, a key venue from his No Sign of Weakness tour, which was supposed to be held at The Armory in Minneapolis. The cancellation was confirmed on Ticket Master’s official website.

While reasons were not provided for the cancellation, netizens speculate it was a result of low ticket sales, which happened following the maltreatment of a sleeping fan at his previous concert.

“When I stand up here and see you over there with your girl sleeping … it pisses me the f*ck up.” Burna Boy then continued, "I’m not doing another song until you go home.”

The female fan and her partner were escorted out of the event.

The incident went viral on social media and sparked public outrage. Burna Boy made the situation worse by offering an ‘apology.’ According to netizens, it would have been preferable if the Nigerian musician hadn't said anything instead.

Days after the incident, the No Sign of Weakness hitmaker went on social media to clarify the situation and share his side of the story. According to the Afrobeat star, the backlash was an “agenda against” him, but he had thick skin.

“I understand the agenda against me and I came to terms with it a long time ago so my skin is bulletproof at this point.”

Burna Boy continued comparing his concert to a classroom and a plane.

“I wasn't gonna address this but... if you make the pilot uncomfortable in a plane you bought a ticket for, you will be deboarded or arrested as soon as you land, you pay school fees but you will be kicked out of class if you make it uncomfortable for the teacher to do his job - My shows have people who have beaten cancer or overcame something very serious e.t.c and none of them have ever slept lol.”

He added:

“I leave my soul on every stage I get on even if it's only 10 people in attendance and I will gladly be cancelled if we are now in a world where you can treat me like a stripper, slap my *ss and tell me to keep dancing cuz you throw $100 at me.”

He apologized in another slide:

“I Sincerely Apologise if I'm wrong, I'm not always right but I feel right about this. Anyway I’m just Human so f*ck me.”
