Dafne Keen, who played Wolverine's young mutant clone and biological daughter in Logan, says she doesn't know if she will be in Avengers: Doomsday. The 20-year-old actress entered the Marvel's X-Men film series through James Mangold's 2017 sci-fi western, which felt like a swansong to X-24, the character Hugh Jackman played for nearly two decades.

Keen co-starred as Laura (X-23), a mysterious girl who happens to be Logan's biological daughter. She was at the heart of this story just as much as Jackman, who bid adieu to his character for the time being. Eventually, Keen returned as Laura in Deadpool & Wolverine, to help Deadpool and a Wolverine variant in their fight against Cassandra Nova.

Since then, there hasn't been any word on Keen's return to any Marvel project. She was also not part of the previously revealed Avengers: Doomsday cast list, which included some X-Men cast. However, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has since revealed that it's not a final list. So, Keen may eventually be included in the film's cast.

That's why ScreenRant recently asked Keen whether she will be a part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast. Here's what she said,

"I actually have no idea, like, legitimately, I swear to you... I literally, right now, I have no idea. I've not heard."

It's not clear whether Dafne Keen's X-23 will be a part of Avengers: Doomsday or not. Her casting has not been officially announced by Marvel or Disney, but it might be revealed in the coming months. Otherwise, she might be a part of the movie's surprise cameos, similar to her appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Keen's recent comments reveal that she doesn't know if she will be a part of Marvel's upcoming tentpole or not. She says that she has not heard about her inclusion in the project. The studio might still be deciding which characters to bring to its blockbuster affair and in what capacity. That's probably why she can't offer any updates.

On the other hand, it's also possible that Keen will be a part of Avengers: Doomsday, but has been told not to spoil any details about her appearance or the lack thereof. As said before, her character might be a part of surprise cameos in the movie. That's why she might have been asked not to share any detail whatsoever.

Speaking about the movie, if viewers learnt every single detail about the movie before it comes out, they won’t have anything to discover while actually watching it. While action set-pieces or easter eggs are often the highlight of these projects, they won’t suffice if every plot detail is disclosed before the movie’s theatrical release.

Dafne Keen's Laura might still make up an interesting addition to the project. She has already left a strong impression through her earlier appearances in Marvel movies and has developed a strong bond with the Logan variant and Deadpool. There have been rumors about Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth joining Avengers: Doomsday. So, X-23 might be joining him for his banters.

Otherwise, Keen's X-23 can also join other X-Men stars such as Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Kelsey Grammer (Beast), and James Marsden (Cyclops).
