"You are proof of Gods word": Todd Chrisley breaks silence with first message since prison, sends love to son Grayson

Todd Chrisley is all in with supporting and admiring his son, Grayson Chrisley, after he was named to the University of Alabama's Spring 2025 Dean's List.

Todd shared the joy with the caption,

"God is good all the time, @graysonchrisley , I love you to the moon and back and we couldn’t be more proud,you have shown great character and fortitude and stood with your lord and savior amidst the fire and came out the other side never smelling of smoke, you are proof of Gods word."

He ended the statement by saying,

"Stand tall,Stand true and stand for your fellow brothers in Christ.I love you Gray Gray"

This is Todd Chrisley’s first Instagram post since getting out of prison. Fans were quick to notice how emotional and proud he sounded.

Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie, were sentenced to prison in 2022 for not paying taxes and bank fraud. Todd was sentenced to twelve years in prison, while Julie received a seven-year sentence for their involvement in the case.

The couple was recently given a pardon by President Donald Trump. The news was first shared on May 28, when Trump personally called the Chrisley children to tell them about the decision.

The University of Alabama Spring 2025 Dean's List is a special recognition given to students who do well in their studies during the spring semester.

As per the University of Alabama website,

"Inclusion on the dean's list requires a student have a term GPA of at least a 3.5 for a minimum of 12 credit hours earned in a fall, spring, or summer semester. Only enrollment in University of Alabama coursework counts toward the 12 credit hour requirement."

According to the article Todd Chrisley shared on Instagram, more than 14,000 students were named to the Dean’s or President’s List at the University of Alabama during the Spring 2025 semester.

Grayson Chrisley is the youngest child of Todd and Julie Chrisley and has also been a part of the family’s reality show Chrisley Knows Best. The nineteen-year-old received appreciation from the fans after his father posted the news on social media.

Grayson was also on the call with his sister, Savannah, when Donald Trump called to share the news about their parents’ pardon. After the news, Grayson shared an Instagram post thanking Donald Trump, where he wrote,

"I can’t even find the right words….. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU President Trump for restoring my family and bringing my parents home. Thank you God, Thank you Savannah, Thank you Mrs Alice Johnson, thank you again President Trump 45/47"
