On General Hospital, Jack Brennan has been a world traveler lately. In recent weeks, the World Security Bureau field office leader showed up in Australia to scold his agents Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). And he went to Switzerland to pay a visit to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) when his daughter Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) wanted to see him in person.
Brennan has dealt with a lot of stress when overseas, but it has been nothing compared to the problems he is having at home, now that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) knows that her daughter is now a WSB agent.
Brennan has been secret agent man on General Hospital
Brennan’s portrayer, Chris McKenna, is enjoying all the drama of his character lately. On his Instagram account, McKenna, who recently went on contract at GH, shared a fantastic piece of fan art that depicts Brennan in full secret agent form.
The picture, an intricate drawing, depicts Brennan dominating the canvas with a gun and giving off a James Bond vibe. Surrounding him are Joss and Vaughn with guns, Carly looing like a Bond girl with a short dress and a glass of wine, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) committing crime on his phone, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in hero mode drawing her gun.
The drawing also shows the General Hospital building itself and an exploding boat.
The drawing was done by an Instagram user named Seosie with the username instantdoodles, whose account is filled with drawings of other celebrity figures.
McKenna captioned the post “Absolutely FLOORED by this incredible drawing by (Seosie). How friggin cool!”
Several General Hospital co-stars commented on the post. Rota put a lot of humor in his critique, saying “This is fantastic. Well done (instantdoodles)!! Also, you have depicted perfectly. AMAZED by Brennan’s lithe and loooong legs! As, in fact, I am in real life!”
Durfee commented “The Man. The Myth. The LEGEND.” McKenna responded “mostly myth.”
McCoy commented “So sick”
In another comment, McKenna said that the artist has made prints of the drawing for sale.
Numerous fans praised the artwork, with several making James Bond comparisons.
The user koumanehyassin said “The name’s Brennan, Jack Brennan.” Another Instagram user, angiwinche, said “I mean, just wow at the talent here!!!! This person needs to (be) professional with this kind of work! Not everyone has it!”

So far, Brennan has done more deal-making and plotting than actual gunplay on General Hospital. But he’ll need to be prepared as the mystery into the Croatia projects deepens. And he’ll have to fight off an angry Carly, too.
