General Hospital Mystery: Why we don't believe Selina Wu (or her goons) shot Drew

General Hospital seems to want us to believe that Curtis offered Selina Wu a cool million in cash if she made sure Drew died that very night. The problem is, Drew is still alive, and that is the main reason we don't believe Selina or one of her minions actually pulled the trigger that night.

After watching expert marksman hitman Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) do his thing for decades, GH fans know that when a paid killer is given an order, a paid killer gets the job done. Selina (Lydia Look) and those who work for her are way too professional to shoot Drew (Cameron Mathison) and have him come out of the whole thing unscathed.

Plus, wouldn't a professional hitman use a silencer on the gun? Those shots were quite loud and heard by Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), who were upstairs in Drew's bedroom.

That should also be Curtis' (Donnell Turner) clue that he doesn't have much to worry about. Sure, he intended to have Drew killed, but if the crime was not actually committed, could he still be held liable for it in a town like Port Charles?

What about Michael and the gun?

The police are also sure that whoever shot Drew used Edward Quartermaine's gun, which was found in Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) room at Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst) house. We know how Willow could get her hands on that gun. We know how Michael could get her hands on that gun. But how could Selina Wu get Edward Q's old gun out of the Quartermaine house so quickly?

And then there is Michael (Rory Gibson). He was in his car outside Drew's house that night and either walked in and pulled the trigger or he saw something that spooked him. Why else would he be going to so much trouble to have a proper alibi if he wasn't somehow involved with this mess?

Frankly, Willow was always the best choice from the moment it hit us that a 'Who Shot Drew?' story was coming nearly a year ago. With everything that Drew has to Willow over the last year (much of which she let him do), her snapping and trying to unalive the congressman makes for the best soap opera.
