This was an abbreviated week for General Hospital due to Major League Baseball.

This week on General Hospital, Tracy found a woman in the Quartermaine crypt who introduced herself as Monica’s younger sister, Veronica “Ronnie” Bard. Ronnie claimed she came to pay her respects and had been corresponding with Monica for over a year. Tracy didn’t believe her, questioned her motives, and told her there’s no place for her in the family. Ronnie recalled being separated from Monica in childhood and said they reconciled before Monica’s death. Ronnie eventually left after warning Tracy she may not be entitled to everything she thinks.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael introduced Molly and Kristina to Jacinda, calling her his new friend. Kristina pulled Michael aside and told him she knew Jacinda was the escort who was with Drew, and Michael assured her he had it under control. After the sisters left, Jacinda told Michael she doubted they believed the story. At Bobbie’s, Spinelli explained to James that Nathan wasn’t really dead and was in General Hospital, but James refused to believe it, saying his father was in heaven. Molly and Kristina discussed how Michael deliberately set up the meeting with Jacinda to establish an alibi.

At General Hospital, Nina revealed to Obrecht and Britt that Nathan was alive. Willow explained their family connection to Nathan and then left as Obrecht and Britt arrived. Obrecht was shocked and hugged him while Britt hung back, clearly wary of something. Nathan recalled Faison’s shooting as the last thing he remembered, said he didn’t know where he had been, and expressed a desire to meet his son. Britt finally hugged him, but without emotion.

They exchanged knowing glances, and Nathan seemed to have something of a smirk on his face. At the nurses’ station, Nina thanked Willow for helping Nathan and asked for a truce. Willow refused, saying she wanted nothing to do with her. Nina insisted they may need each other for alibis.

ADA Turner met with Anna and told her the ballistics showed the bullet came from a gun once owned by Edward Quartermaine, and was still registered to the mansion. Anna said they needed a warrant to search the estate quietly.

In Alexis’s basement, Ric woke up still tied to a cot. Ava forced him to take a pill that knocked him out. She told him he was paying for getting greedy and said the money they stole would soon return to the Cassadines, minus her divorce settlement. Upstairs, Alexis came home, and Ava reported that she had drugged Ric again, and the two agreed they only needed to wait ten days for this to be over.

Back in the basement, Ric spat out the pill and hid it, then worked to free himself. At the hospital, Willow told Nina she didn’t need her alibi and pointed out that Nina has a motive to want Drew dead. Nina argued Willow did too. Nathan asked Obrecht about his son, but Britt interrupted, saying he needed rest. Outside the room, Felicia, Spinelli, and James arrived. Britt watched James closely, appearing troubled.

Outside Bobbie’s, Molly told Kristina that she believed Michael staged the meeting to strengthen his alibi. Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Michael admitted to Jacinda that he hated using this tactic but felt the police wouldn’t stop digging. Anna told Justine they need to move quickly on the Quartermaine warrant. The camera lingered on Michael’s photo on her suspect board.

In the crypt, Tracy ordered Ronnie out, and Ronnie departed after telling her she may not inherit things as she expected. At Alexis’ house, Ric secretly stood in the background as Alexis made a phone call. Alexis was talking to her assistant on the phone, and it was revealed that the reading of Monica's will would be the next day.

Meanwhile, Nathan was reading the newspaper article online about his death, and when he looked up, he had a sinister glower. Spinelli and Felicia brought James to see Nathan, but Britt sent James off to the vending machines and tried to convince them that James wasn’t ready to meet Nathan just yet. At the wall of departed doctors, Sonny bumped into Ronnie. Michael encountered Tracy at the Quartermaine crypt.

When Alexis eventually lay down to rest on the couch, Ric put the dagger that was used to kill her mother to her throat. Ronnie explained to Sonny that she and Monica were estranged, and he later told her that he had been estranged from his own father, but they eventually found their way back to each other. Tracy told Michael that she would help him because he could be guilty of shooting Drew.

Anna called Carly in to question her about Michael’s whereabouts on the night of the shooting. Elizabeth asked Molly if she had heard from Ric, and Molly told her about his unplugged detox camp. With the dagger at her throat, Ric told Alexis that she was going to call the cops and confess to kidnapping him, and as they argued, she explained Molly wouldn’t be happy if she did what he asked.

Michael told Tracy that he went to Drew‘s but didn’t kill him; he just wanted to confront him, but then left after rethinking it. Tracy marveled at the fact that he sounded like a Quartermaine because she couldn’t tell if he was lying or not. Britt suggested to Felicia Spinelli that they consult a therapist before introducing James to Nathan, but James had already gone into Nathan’s room on his own.

Tracy admitted she didn’t care whether or not he shot Drew; she just cared that he stayed free. Carly insisted to Anna that Michael didn’t shoot Drew because he wasn’t a killer, so Anna threw Claudia Zacchara in her face. Ric forced Alexis to call the cops, but she called Liz instead. At the moment she answered, Ava threw hot water in his face. Alexis texted Liz and told her she had called by accident, but Liz had heard Ric’s voice in the background earlier. When Ric struggled to get up, Ava clocked him with a heavy wooden cutting board. Tracy explained to Michael that the reason she wanted to help him was because she was paying back Monica for always taking her back after she threw Tracy out.

Britt, Liesel, Spinelli, and Felicia witnessed James and Nathan bonding. Molly told Anna about how she and Kristina went to see Michael, and Jacinda was there, and explained that she felt it was as if he was shoring up his alibi. Ava handcuffed him to the rails on the cot. They then forced him to swallow a sleeping pill and put the ball gag back in his mouth. Spinelli told Felicia that he felt something wasn’t quite right with Nathan‘s return. A concerned-looking Britt watched James, Obrecht, and Nathan interact. Carly told Sonny about Anna’s line of questioning.

Anna told Molly that Michael had the means, motive, and opportunity to shoot Drew, which put him right at the top of the suspect list next to Carly. They agreed that once they found Edward’s gun, they would try to link it to either Michael or Carly. Tracy assured Michael that he would inherit the house and asked that he extend the same hospitality to her that Monica did. Ronnie got a call to be somewhere, and she agreed to it, saying it would be “interesting.” It was obviously for Monica’s will reading.
