General Hospital 2026 Preview: Drew's shooter revealed, Valentin's undoing, Anna's escape plan, and more

General Hospital spoilers tease a big and bold 2026 in Port Charles as the new year begins. We will finally get some answers we've been looking for, while our favorites do everything to save themselves and those they love.

After the new year, Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) trial picks up again with testimony that can change everything. Jacinda (Paige Herschell) takes the stand to give Michael (Rory Gibson) his false alibi, and things fall apart quickly from there.

"Drew’s shooter is revealed as Willow’s trial climaxes. The verdict and its fallout will reverberate for years to come," Head Writers Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte told TV Insider in a new year's preview.

The wild cards in all of this are Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabyana Ali). They were in Drew's (Cameron Mathison) home that fateful night. Now, they decide to do a little more investigating, and what they find will stun all.

"No matter what the verdict, Alexis and Scout may wind up losers," the writers said.

Trouble for Valentin

When Carly (Laura Wright) brought Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) to see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) on Christmas Eve, she may not have realized the trouble she could start. Knowing where her father has been hiding, Charlotte manages to elude the cops and WSB agents who have been tracking her as she tries to find her father.

A panicked Lulu (Alexa Havins) turns to Nathan (Ryan Paevey) for help in finding her wayward teenage daughter, not knowing her own cousin helped cause Charlotte's disappearance. Valentin's desire to make sure his daughter is safe could derail his and Carly's plans to bring down Jack (Chris McKenna).

"Carly means to bury Brennan for luring Josslyn into a life of service to the WSB — even if that means getting in deeper with Valentin," Van Etten and Korte said. Valentin’s bond with Charlotte may be the death of him."

Finding Anna...

So far, nobody even suspects that Anna (Finola Hughes) might be in trouble. After all, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) received photos of her grandmother enjoying a little ski holiday.

"Anna’s situation goes from bad to worse when she’s called on by a voice from her past," the scribes said. "She makes a bid for escape, but her captors are prepared with a contingency should she prove too difficult to control."

However, things are about to go from bad to worse when Anna's loved ones finally get wind that something is wrong. Emma, Felicia (Kristina Wagner), and Mac (John J. York) try to rescue her, but "What happens next will prove traumatic for the Scorpios."
