General Hospital's Eden McCoy celebrates 10 years as Josslyn Jacks

From pre-teen darling to international super spy, Eden McCoy has seen it all as General Hospital's Josslyn Jacks over the last decade. On October 14, 2025, McCoy marked 10 years as Carly's spitfire daughter and marked the occasion with a social media post full of sweet memories.

Take a trip down memory lane with McCoy as she remembers her decade growing up in front of the camera. The Emmy-winning actress was just 12 years old when she made her General Hospital debut at Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny's (Maurice Benard) hospital chapel wedding. Josslyn had just returned from a trip visiting her dad, Jax (Ingo Rademacher), in Australia, and surprised her mom.

McCoy described what her life has been like on Instagram, while also sharing a series of fun snaps, including one right before that magical first scene in 2015.

"Today marks 10 years since my first episode of General Hospital aired 🖐🏼 10 years 🖐🏼 of life has happened in this studio," she wrote. "What a special thing to be able to celebrate. And an impossible thing to put into words. It’s embarrassing (from 13 years old to probably 17?) and remarkable that most of my life is documented on camera forever, starting at age 12 to now, 22. My kids will be able to watch me grow up, and when I’m 80 and want to see what I looked like at 15 I can find it."

"My life has become unrecognizable from the life I had my first day at this job, yet the one thing that is the same is my ability to come to this set, and work with people who have become family," McCoy continued. "Whenever I see old scenes from previous years, I don’t see the scene, I see whatever I was going through in my real life at that time. This show has given me the opportunity to provide for myself and create the life that I love, and this show is around because of the fans. So thank you to anyone who has tuned in the last decade. And the cast and crew, you know who you are. And the team in the booth that keeps this show running. YOU put the food on my table. And YOU gave me so many lessons that are not seen on camera. I love you."

GH fans have seen Josslyn through her pre-teen time, her teenage years, and now her young adult years as a college student turned WSB agent. Josslyn experienced heartache as her first love, Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt), died from brain cancer. Her relationship with Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) was torn apart thanks to Esme Price's (Avery Pohl) revenge porn. And her romance with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was cut short when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) killed him last year.

This week will be a big one for Josslyn as her mother learns that she is now an international agent, putting her life in danger to fight the bad guys. It's all in a day's work for Eden McCoy, who has been entertaining us as Josslyn for 10 years. Here's to another 10 starting now.
