It's been a while since Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) actually shared scenes together, much less did any business. But with the election here and Measure C on the ballot, they have a lot to worry about.

Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is determined to make their lives a living hell over those piers, and things look like they're coming to a head. Jason (Steve Burton) thinks that he and Sonny need to act fast before it's too late, but what do they have planned?

Laura (Genie Francis) is also worried about the election results and tells Lulu (Alexa Havins) that whatever happens tonight could change Port Charles forever.

A Sidwell distraction

Sidwell thinks he has all his ducks in a row to get the election results he wants. So, he decides there is nothing wrong with a little pleasure. A flirtation with Ava (Maura West) helps bring him pleasure. Ava seems intrigued by this very wealthy man, but she can end up in over her head, just like her nephew, Lucas (Van Hansis).

When Josslyn (Eden McCoy) reports to Jack (Chris McKenna) that Lucas might be moving into Wyndemere, Jack thinks this is the break they have been looking for. Little do either one of them know they have something else to worry about.

Carly (Laura Wright) takes another trip to Switzerland to visit Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) in Steinmauer. She tells him that her plan seems to be coming along nicely, and it won't be long now before he is back in Port Charles and able to visit with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke).

As for Charlotte, she continues to scheme with Emma (Braedyn Bruner) to break into Dalton's (Daniel Goddard) lab. Too bad these young adults don't realize there are more nefarious things going on in that lab that have nothing to do with animal testing.

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) might realize that Emma is getting in over her head when she tells the young woman that they will not be working together. Britt seems to know everything Jack wants to know, and she is determined to protect the people around her.
