General Hospital co-chief of staff Dr. Portia Robinson, played by Brook Kerr, may have felt there was already another person in her marriage to Curtis before she found out she was pregnant. Jordan Ashford, Curtis's ex, is a continued presence in her life! Now, Kerr is talking about how this is affecting her character.
The doctor is pregnant on General Hospital

Thanks to Jordan (Tanisha Harper), Curtis (Donnell Turner) now knows that his estranged wife, Portia, is pregnant. Frankly, Portia is so over Jordan's presence in her life!
Kerr told Soap Opera Digest that Portia knew her pregnancy was going to come out, but not so early. “I think Portia wanted to pretend for a little longer," Kerr says, that everything was all right.
Not surprisingly, Curtis immediately explored the idea of staying together for the sake of the baby. He was very passionate about wanting to be there when his child woke up in the morning and being there when his child went to sleep at night. After all, Curtis was denied the opportunity to raise Trina (Tabyana Ali).
However, viewers saw that Portia dismissed that idea. After all, a baby can't fix what's wrong with a marriage that's already having trouble.
“Staying together for the sake of the child? No. The reasons for our divorce are valid," Kerr feels. What has yet come out is that Curtis may not be the father of Portia's baby. Right now, Portia's focused on making it through her first trimester.
Who's the daddy

"Either one of them could be the father," Kerr muses, referring to Dr. Isiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). After those first few months are over, Portia can proceed with a paternity test. Then, she'll have more information and can plan her future.
However, even if Curtis is the dad, Jordan will still be a threat to her marriage. If it weren't for Jordan, in fact, Curtis wouldn't know yet that his wife is pregnant.
"Portia feels like, 'Jordan is inserting herself, again, into my life, my marriage, my reproductive system, all of that! And so I no longer even have the choice to tell my husband how I want to!'" Kerr observes in character. "To have that taken away is huge. It’s just very uncool.”
