On General Hospital, Diane Miller stands for justice and for her clients. In real life, her portrayer, Carolyn Hennesy, has had to get off her feet a bit while she has an injury tended to. We need you back at GH soon!!"Robert's ribRobert (Tristan Rogers) and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) on General Hospital | Image: Disney/Bahareh RitterHennesy is celebrating nearly two decades on General Hospital as Diane Miller, the legal eagle who has kept Port Charles's most famous coffee importer, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and his pals out of prison. But Diane's more than a savvy attorney. Last year, the actress played out a touching love story with Tristan Rogers's Robert Scorpio. When Holly (Emma Samms) wasn't on the canvas, Diane and Robert entered each other's orbits. They had tons in common beyond the law. Robert had arguably the most charming wit of any leading man on daytime. Diane is second to no one when it comes to firing off quick-witted zingers. When it was clear that Robert's heart was always going to be with Holly, Diane made it clear to Robert that she wasn't going to be his second choice. Even though we cheered when Robert and Holly got that happy ending by going off into the sunset together, we couldn't help but feel that Diane was the one who got away. Soap Central wishes Hennesy a continued recovery and best wishes on her 20th anniversary of playing Diane. Catch all-new episodes of General Hospital weekdays on ABC and Hulu
