General Hospital characters Chase and Willow, played by Joshua Swickard and Katelyn MacMullen, were once the sweethearts of Port Charles. Might they find their way back to one another? MacMullen is musing over this possibility in a new interview.
General Hospital, is it getting Chillow

MacMullen recently shared with Soap Opera Digest that the topic of Willow and Chase getting back together has crossed her mind, as well. "I feel like anytime you see two characters written a lot together, that question mark will pop up,” the actress shared.
She wonders, just as viewers do, if this is going anywhere? But she believes that you can never fully know until something happens, and maybe not even then!
The first step to a Chase and Willow reunion begins on the printed page, specifically, in the show's scripts. When MacMullen gets scripts featuring Willow and Chase in scenes together, like in today's episode, when Willow went to Chase at the Quartermaine mansion to share with him that she was off the hook for shooting Drew (Cameron Mathison). Those thoughts, alas, turned out to be premature.
Viewers first fell in love with Chase and Willow when they began dating after she'd gotten away from Dawn of Day, a cult that Willow had been sucked into by the enigmatic Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Chase was patient as Willow worked on herself and moved forward with her life.
General Hospital, Nurses Ball magic

When Chase performed at the Nurses Ball in 2019, he invited Willow to dance with him up on stage as he sang "Something Just Like This." Gala attendees cheered, and so did audiences. Chillow (Chase and Willow's smush name) took a hit when Willow fell for Michael (then, Chad Duell; now, Rory Gibson).
Now, Willow may be married to Drew (Cameron Mathison), but the man she keeps turning to is Chase. MacMullen has said that she loves working with Swickard, calling him "awesome."
The actress muses that Chase sees Willow as the one person who has seen her at her best. That's a good thing because Willow's going to need all the help that she can get now that there's new information that has surfaced, placing her near Drew's home the night of the shooting.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is not a happy attorney these days. She told Willow to be honest with her, and she hasn't been. Now, her job is much harder as there is mounting evidence against her client. Perhaps, Chase, being on the inside at the Port Charles Police Department, will be able to help Willow in a way that doesn't jeopardize his marriage to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton).
