Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan on General Hospital, is reaching out to his supporters to share an important message. He wants you to live your best life.
General Hospital, Steve Burton's message
Burton's gone through a lot of changes over the last several years. Professionally, he's come and gone and come back again to General Hospital. He's seen matters related to his personal life play out in the media. Also, the actor got married earlier this year to Michelle Lundstrom. Now, he's sharing with his followers that he knows they're going through changes, too!
"God knows my has changed in the last 5 years," Burton posted on Instagram. "Change Can Be Hard… But It’s Worth It. Let’s be honest...change is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.
"It’s uncomfortable. It’s scary," Burton continues. "And staying the same is so much easier, isn’t it? That’s why so many people stay stuck in their so-called 'comfort zones,' even when those zones are quietly destroying them. You know what I’m talking about."
The first day of the rest of your life

"Well, here’s the good news: every single day you get another chance to shift your life in a new direction," Burton says. "The key is mindset. If you can change your mindset, you can change your life. But it starts with three daily commitments: 1. Be brutally honest with yourself. Acknowledge where you are and what needs to change. No sugar-coating.
Burton continued: "2. Create daily awareness through reflection. Take a few quiet minutes every morning to sit with your thoughts. Reflect on yesterday, and get clear on what you could’ve changed on how you want to show up today. 3. Choose Victory over victimhood. Life isn’t happening to you, it’s happening for you. The moment you recognize this, you take back control and open the door to growth.
"Real Change doesn’t have to be massive. It just has to be chosen over and over again," Burton adds. "Small positive, daily, intentional choices will CHANGE your life. If this hit home for you, the @themoneymichelle and I have a 21-Day Challenge, [which] is the perfect way to put this into action. 21 days of coaching, support, and daily wins that last."
Numerous followers of Burton's are weighing in with supportive messages on a variety of topics, including the incredible acting the actor has done in relation to the on-screen passing of Leslie Charleson (Monica).
"[T]his year you should submit a reel for Emmy consideration!" posted @suzilovespeace, "you have been superb."
