General Hospital stars Kin Shriner and Carolyn Hennesy, who play, respectively, Scotty Baldwin and Diane Miller, have more in common than being TV attorneys. The two thespians have suffered similar injuries and now, one of the actors is reaching out to the other with words of support!General Hospital, heal thyself"Good luck with leg @carolynhennesy, I know the drill well !!!!" Shriner posted on X, formerly Twitter, along with a photo of himself and Hennesy riding his motorbike. Hennesy replied: "Miss you, my friend!!!!!"Hennesy is undergoing surgery because last month she broke her leg. The medical mishap forced her to postpone a nightclub act she was planning for November 5th. Last June, Shriner shared an update on X, formerly Twitter, about his journey to get back on his feet (and onto his Vespa!). "News flash from Fla Scotty @GeneralHospital," Shriner posted, "not just eating glazed donuts he [is] working hard to fix foot and get back to Vespa and all other things!!!!!!Opposing counsel In Tracy's fantasy, she was in court with Scotty, Diane, and 'judge' Sonny on General Hospital | Image: JPIHennesy's Diane Miller and Shriner's Scotty Baldwin are two of Port Charles' most memorable attorneys. We've lost count of the number of times Diane has made sure that Sonny (Maurice) and Jason (Steve Burton) haven't gone up the river. The coffee importer and his enforcer have the attractive redhead on speed dial. They're no sooner read their rights than Diane has shown up in a power suit, making sure that they're not in the PCPD's interrogation room for very long. Over the years, GH has delved into Diane's personal life. Last year, she embarked on an unlikely romance with Robert Scorpio (the late Tristan Rogers). Alas, Robert's heart was always going to belong to Holly (Emma Samms). Diane stood up for women, heck, for people, everywhere when she refused to be his second choice. If Robert wanted her, terrific. But Diane wasn't going to be the odd woman out. (Where was Hennesy's Daytime Emmy nomination for her work in this tale?) Shriner hit the GH scene in 1977. He was soon paired with Genie Francis's Laura, and the couple's young love story was instrumental in skyrocketing General Hospital to the top of the ratings! Shriner left GH in the summer of 1980 so that he could move to New York and take on the role of Jeb on the NBC serial, Texas. He returned to GH in November 1981 just in time to catch Laura's bouquet at her wedding to Luke (Anthony Geary). Shriner has come and gone from GH over the years. In 1997, he was tapped to bring a familiar face to the GH spinoff, Port Charles. Will Shriner return to GH in the future? If he does, Soap Central will report the news!
