Outback to the Rescue on General Hospital: How the Port Charles pooch always has the best timing

Remember the days of Foster and Annabelle on General Hospital? Those two feline friends were always into everything, with Foster getting around town and solving problems on a frequent basis. Now, GH has a new dog in town named Outback, and she has been getting the job done when needed.

When Outback ran away, the Port Charles younger set searched high and low for the pooch. Sonny was even ready to put up a hefty reward at Gio's request, but Outback turned up in the Quartermaine stables, where Cody tried to hide him. That's when Outback made fans' dreams come true.

When Emma and Gio found Outback in the park a few months ago, she became their dog until Anna could no longer have her in her apartment. When Gio discovered that Outback was with Cody, he told her to come over and surprised her when she saw that he had Outback. That led to Emma and Gio's first kiss, something we had waited for all year.

Outback gets Ric out of the basement

Isn't it amazing that Outback just happened along some weirdness at Alexis' house, both in Ric's dream and in soap opera real life? Ric dreamed that a dog he hadn't met before was outside Alexis' basement entrance with Elizabeth, who had never even shared scenes with the dog.

Later, Outback really was there when Cody was oddly walking outside Alexis' house. Outback knew something weird was going on in the basement and led Cody down there, where he found Ric cuffed to a gurney with a ball gag in his mouth.

Granted, Alexis, Ava, and Kristina had planned to set Ric free the next day, but Ric got a reprieve and got to take a shower a day early, all thanks to Outback.

Outback saves Tracy's house from Drew

Perhaps Outback's biggest rescue came when she ran into the Q living room and quickly swiped those sale papers that would have illegally given Drew the house that Alan gave Monica, rendering the rest of the Quartermaines homeless.

Sure, the deal would have been null and void after Tracy found the real will, but Outback knew what she was doing when she took those papers and ran off. Even the dog knows that Drew is as ewww as it gets.
