It was part of a promotional campaign for the group's new album Love Is Like, which was officially released on August 15, 2025.

Videos and photos of their performance went viral across social media. Some fans admitted they did not believe the flyers posted locally until they saw proof online that Adam Levine and the band were indeed onstage in the small venue. However, referring to Maroon 5's latest album, one fan remarked:
