Taylor Swift recently supported a young fan of hers who is battling cancer. On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Life of a Showgirl hitmaker donated $100,000 to the parents of two-year-old Swiftie Lilah, who has been diagnosed with stage four cancer.
She captioned her GoFundMe donation:
“Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah! Love, Taylor.”
In addition to her donation, Taylor Swift also encouraged her fans to support Lilah with $13. Taking up the challenge, numerous Swifties made donations to the GoFundMe account, writing sweet messages in the donation caption.
One wrote:
“Sending love to the Beautiful Amazingly Strong Lilah and sending her all the hugs and love to her and her family on her road to recovery and cancer fight journey, love from your fellow Swiftie Mia M.”

Taylor Swift donated $100,000 to Lilah’s GoFundMe account. According to the account, they have raised $176,000 out of the required $100,000.
“Thank you so so much @taylorswift. I am in shock. This means so much to us. I can’t express in words how incredibly grateful we are. Tyler [Lilah's father] and I can just focus on our baby girl and being together as a family,” Lilah’s mother thanks the Fate of Ophelia hitmaker in a TikTok video.
According to Lilah’s official GoFundMe page, she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
“A little backstory: On February 24th, my sister-in-law went into labour. While she was in labour, her 18-month-old daughter Lilah had a seizure while at home. She was rushed to the hospital, where they did a scan and found a mass on her brain.”
The statement described Lilah’s struggle with the disease.
“All we are asking for is lots and lots of prayers for this strong little girl! Every donation is appreciated, no matter the amount. If you would like to donate in a different way, please contact the creator.”
The statement continued:
“Help us lessen the burden on their expenses so they can focus on taking care of their baby girl, Lilah! If you are not able to donate, share with your friends and family, as it would mean the world to us!”
