BTS J-hope, who concluded his Hope on the Stage world tour on June 14, 2025, had his track Killin’ It Girl featuring GloRilla featured on the Grammys’ New Music Friday List. This list by the Recording Academy was released on June 13, 2025, and features a curation of fresh tracks from artists like Kehlani, Twenty One Pilots, and Gunna, amongst others.

Other K-pop artists that were featured on the list include ITZY and ATEEZ, who recently released mini-albums. LE SSERAFIM’s English version of the video game-themed song Different is also one of the songs on the list.

Grammy.com introduced J-hope’s single on their website as a continuation of the BTS member’s impressive collaborations. The website continued in its description;

"Built over a minimalist hip-hop beat, the new song gives the lovestruck BTS member plenty of space to hype up a new paramour he's fallen for at first sight."

As news of J-hope’s Grammy Friday music list feature spread to fans on X, they praised the BTS member's track, describing it as Song of the Year and adding that it deserved a Grammy.
