Popular British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran released his latest album on September 12. The album titled Play debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart. According to reports, the album sold 71,000 equivalent units in its first week.

Play is Ed Sheeran’s eighth studio album and the first of the singer’s six-album collection that will include titles based on media control symbols, including Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop, and Eject.

It was released on September 12, 2025, and produced by Ed Sheeran, Elvira Anderfjärd, Louis Bell, Cirkut, Omer Fedi, Savan Kotecha, Fred, Ilya, Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, Blake Slatkin, and Andrew Watt.

The album was preceded by five singles: Azizam, Old Phone, Sapphire, A Little More, and Camera. It contains total thirteen tracks. Rest of the song part of the album are Heaven, For Always, The Vow, Don’t Look Down, Slowly, In Other Words, and Symmetry.
