On June 20, 2025, the X handle @AboutMusicYT revealed that BTS' Jungkook has the highest number of Spotify streams among K-pop soloists. The Hate You singer reached #1 spot on Spotify with nearly 9 billion streams. Jungkook's only solo album till date, titled GOLDEN, was released in November 2023.
Following Jungkook, Jimin and BLACKPINK’s Jennie are ranked #2 and #3 with 6.9 billion and 4.9 billion streams, respectively.
Jeon Jungkook had been breaking records with his album even when he was serving his term in the military. The idol was discharged on June 11 together with Park Jimin, his bandmate. Maknae joined his service in December 2023 and served his term for 18 months.
