BTS' Taehyung once again made headlines after bagging the award for “Best Solo Idol (Male)” at the Top Ten Awards 2025. Kim Taehyung, aka V, will reportedly receive a physical trophy to honor this achievement.
With the latest feat, the Winter Ahead singer marked his first major solo win shortly after finishing his obligatory military training in South Korea. The idol was freed from his service on June 10, 2025, alongside his bandmate RM.
Fans of BTS' Taehyung praised him for his new award
Many fans congratulated V for his newest solo recognition, while others claimed that he deserved the award. He was also praised as the best idol by some fans.

Some fans dubbed BTS' Taehyung a legend, while others praised his wonderful voice.
“Taehyung the legend transcends time he always wins,” a fan commented.
“I love you so much and I'm so proud of you my dear! We love you Kim Taehyung!CONGRATULATIONS TAEHYUNG V BEST MALE SOLO,” another fan wrote.
“Congratulations Taehyung, you are a great artist through and through. You deserve everything and much more. You have a wonderful voice. I listen to your music 24/7,not in vain are you an idol of idols,” a fan stated.
BTS' Taehyung, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook were discharged recently
The Winter Bear singer and the BTS rapper joined their military terms in December 2023, around the same time when Jungkook and Jimin kicked off their terms.
Following an 18-month training, the members were discharged from their services in June 2025. While V and RM were released on June 10, Jk and Jimin were freed on June 11.
Shortly after his release, V was spotted at J-hope’s ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ Final D-1 concert held in Seoul, South Korea. The Slow Dancing vocalist enjoyed his time with other members of the group, which showed the BTS reunited after a long time since their military service.
In related news, BTS' Taehyung garnered attention for his solo hit, Winter Ahead. The BTS idol was awarded the May MVP title in the K-pop Top 10 on K-star Chart. The most recent accomplishment marks Kim Taehyung's fifth victory with a tangible trophy. The song Winter Ahead was released in November 2024 and was collaboratively composed with artist Park Hyo-shin.
