Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced their split at the start of July, putting an end to the speculations.
Days after breaking up with the Gran Turismo star, the Part of Me singer was seen hanging out with friends on a yacht on July 5, 2025, TMZ confirmed. The outlet also shared some pictures of Katy Perry during her Saturday outing aboard the vessel. She wore a black swimsuit and paired it up with matching shades.
In one of the pictures, the singer-songwriter was seen embracing someone. According to TMZ, the man was Michael Kives, a former Hollywood agent and close friend of Katy Perry. The outlet cited a source to report that Orlando Bloom was also aboard the boat. However, the Troy actor was not seen in any of the photos.
In June, a source close to the former couple told Us Weekly that “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable.” The insider added,
“It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
Despite their split, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's priority is their only child, Daisy, their reps confirmed in an official statement earlier this month.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will continue to coparent and “to be seen together as a family” post-breakup
The 143 singer and the Kingdom of Heaven actor started dating three years before they got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019. However, reports of relationship troubles began to emerge in June 2025. A source told People that “they’re pretty much done,” before adding that they “don’t really see them being able to turn things around here.” The insider further shared,
“It’s been breaking down the last couple of months and isn’t looking good.”
On June 22, 2025, Orlando Bloom and Daisy joined Katy Perry in Perth, Australia, according to the Daily Mail. However, the actor attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding alone, amid reports of a split, as per People and TMZ. On June 30, Perry appeared to be in tears while performing during a concert.
In July, the couple shared a joint statement through their reps to confirm their amicable breakup (via Page Six),
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.”
The statement continues,
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
A source confirmed to Us Weekly that the pair is “still very much in touch” and is co-parenting their four-year-old daughter together. They told the outlet that Orlando Bloom brought Daisy to meet Katy in Australia before he headed to the Bezos-Sánchez wedding. The insider stated,
“It’s not messy between them.”
According to Us Weekly, the source claimed that Orlando and Katy “are not making drastic changes” and have prioritized “stability and consistency for Daisy.”
