The Lumineers are all set to return to Australia and New Zealand in January 2026. This leg is part of their Automatic World Tour.
The newly announced AU/NZ run will include seven shows across Christchurch, Auckland, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth. The run is being presented by Frontier Touring. It will be the American folk-rock duo's first visit to the region since 2022.
The upcoming dates arrive during their 20th anniversary year. They follow a run through North America, Mexico, and Europe. The Lumineers' current tour has been designed to support Automatic, the band's first new album in three years, which debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200. It also produced the Adult Alternative Airplay chart-topping single "Same Old Song."
The Lumineers took to their official Instagram handle to announce the 2026 AU/NZ leg. The post read:

The Lumineers were formed in 2005 by Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites. They began as small-club performers in New Jersey before their breakthrough in 2012 with their self-titled debut album. That release featured "Ho Hey," a song that became a defining track of the 2010s indie-folk wave. Since then, they have released five albums, earned two Grammy nominations, and sold more than 1.5 million albums in the US alone.
The Lumineers are also known for their effort to support social causes, including environmental initiatives, youth mental health programs, and pandemic-era relief efforts for music industry workers.
