BTS' Jimin’s solo track WHO made headlines recently. The K-pop idol’s song turned out to be the first and the only solo song by an Asian act/artists to surpass 1.9 billion filtered streams on Spotify Global. With new feat, WHO also emerged as the fastest song by a male Asian act to reach this milestone. Jimin’s song reached this mark in 424 days. WHO belongs to the tracklist of BTS’ Jimin’s second solo album, MUSE.

Fans were thrilled with the success of his solo song. As a result, people stormed the internet with their admiration for Park Jimin.

BTS' Jimin’s second album MUSE released in July 2024

Jimin’s first solo album was FACE, which dropped in March 2023. MUSE is the idol’s second album that came out in July last year. The idol’s company, BIGHIT Music, described the inspiration of the album in the following manner:

“Jimin of 21st century pop icons BTS is set to release his second solo album MUSE on July 19, 2024. While FACE delved into confronting one’s inner self, through MUSE, Jimin candidly shares the stories he wished to convey while portraying his journey of finding inspiration from his surroundings.”

BIGHIT further added:

“Jimin, who led the overall production of MUSE, tells the story of making various attempts at finding real, genuine love and losing his way at times over the album’s seven tracks.”

The album featured seven songs, namely Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson), Be Mine, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), WHO, and Closer Than This.
