Sabrina Carpenter has reportedly achieved her biggest Spotify debut yet. Her collaboration with Taylor Swift, "The Life of a Showgirl (feat. Sabrina Carpenter)," reportedly amassed 18.73 million streams on the Global Spotify chart on its release day. It marks Carpenter’s biggest streaming debut to date.

This latest record has drawn notable reactions online. While some fans are celebrating, others are pushing back. One netizen commented:

"The machine is doing what the machine does. Eighteen million autoplay spins and playlist boosts dressed up as record-breaking. Nothing organic about it; it's just Spotify farming data while Pop Base sells it as history."

Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to share that,

"Sabrina Carpenter earns her biggest streaming debut on the Global Spotify chart with ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’ (18.73 million)"

Fans soon jumped into the comment section of the X post as they penned their views on Sabrina Carpenter's latest achievement. Below are some of their remarks:

"I have personally contributed about 8.73 million of those streams 😭", shared a fan.
"Sabrina Carpenter reacts to learning that only 200 copies of her debut album ‘Eyes Wide Open’ were made: “They really didn’t give a f**k about me.”", shared another.
"I forgot she's featured in the track and I deadass thought they accidentally typed her name instead of Taylor's; Congrats to Sabrina though! A win is a win", commented a third.

Others also chimed in:

"this is the greatest achievement in her career (and she will ever get), and she is not even responsible for that. what a f**king shame", opined a netizen.
"So she's supposedly the biggest gen-z artist, collabed with the biggest artist in the world and this is all she got? 💀", asked another.
"Even with Sabrina featured on Taylor’s new album, it does not save it, the entire project just falls flat. It feels like Taylor tried to replicate what Sabrina did with her last two albums, but it completely missed the mark.", penned a third.
